The North School
The £90 million Kent Schools PFI Project, operational in 2007, involved the redevelopment of 6 secondary schools. The redevelopment included the construction of new state-of-the-art learning and teaching facilities for each school, including gymnasiums, dance/drama studios and all weather pitches.
The new buildings at The North School in Ashford, Kent, with 800 pupils, provide significantly improved accommodation compared with what was there previously. This transformation, coupled with rising standards, has lead to the school being oversubscribed.
The new facilities are great and enable us to create a positive ethos within an outstanding learning environment.
